BBC Radio 6 Music / Mary Anne Hobbs plays 'Isslottet'

World exclusive time - the first live recording from Ice Music Festival 2014 is played as the opening track to BBC Radio 6 Music Recommends show with Mary Anne Hobbs.

Always seeking out music created out on the edges of production and genre, Mary Anne Hobbs has a rich live DJing and radio history - from her seminal The Breezeblock show - through to shining one of the earliest spotlights on the fledgling but burgeoning dubstep & grime scene in London well over a decade ago - through to curating hugely successful DJ sets at Sónar. So Mary Anne was excited to learn that Terje had made some live recordings at Ice Music Festival 2014 and keen bag a track or two. Roll on some fruitful email exchanges and she succeeded!

In the 3rd part of BBC 6 Music's Ice Music Festival 2014 coverage, starting with Stuart Maconie's insightful interview with Terje, followed by a super on-location report from Fiona Talkington, we're proud to present the track 'Isslottet' - mixed exclusively by Terje Isungset for @maryannehobbs.

Super stuff.
