Environmental responsibility

The winter conditions and the temperature decides the quality and sound of the ice instruments. The stage, venue and decoration is made of snow and ice. In other words; the festival is totally dependent of the nature and the cold climate. This dependency makes a good reason for a eco tourism company to arrange the festival.

The day is here! IceMusic Festival 2011

Today starts IceMusic Festival 2011 and it is ready for the world premiere. World's first langeleik of ice will be presented and played on by the Aastad Bråten brothers. In addition, the local children's choir Skarvebarna and Solfrid Nestegard Gjeldokk will perform. The weather is perfect and the conditions optimal for ice music. Welcome to Geilo, Kikut ..
